PFEW’s wellbeing sub-committee handles the vital work of making sure that all aspects of members’ health and wellbeing are considered. We meet regularly throughout the year and report to the National Board.
Our work often feeds into national campaigns such as the Hear ‘Man Up’, Think ‘Man Down’, which is focused on encouraging members to talk about mental health, support colleagues and reach out for support if they need it.
Our four main areas of wellbeing focus are:
Wellbeing is such a broad remit, and the committee often works with other areas such as operational policing, equality, roads policing, detectives, health and safety, and PFEW’s self-organised groups.
