The Police Federation of England and Wales elections give members the opportunity to vote for the colleagues they want to represent them locally and nationally.
Police Federation representatives support and advise members in matters such as conduct, pay, allowances, terms and conditions, equality, professional development and operational policing issues.
Elections for Federation reps are held every three years with interim elections being organised if positions become vacant.
The 2018 national elections were the first under new procedures introduced after the Independent Review of the Police Federation.
The current election process began on 1 July 2021 with nominations for workplace reps. It is set to conclude in June 2022 with elections of the National Board, National Chair, and appointment of the National Secretary.
If you are a subscribing PFEW member and are interested in becoming a workplace rep, nominations are open until 22 July 2021. Find out more about the role on our Reps@Work page.
