Operation Peridot – Our Journey of Transformation

The Police Federation of England and Wales is changing. Operation Peridot is our roadmap to rebuild trust, strengthen representation and put members first.

Over the next five years we will:
- Provide stronger support for members, especially as victims, witnesses or claimants.
- Invest in reps through training, guidance and cutting admin.
- Speak with a louder national voice on pay, conditions and respect for policing.
- Reform governance, elections and finances to be transparent and fair.
- Embed diversity, fairness and representation in everything we do.

Some of these reforms need legislation. Some will take time. But within 12 months, members will notice the difference.

This isn’t about ticking boxes. It’s about building a Federation that serves our members properly, professionally and proudly.
