QUESTION:

Who decided which staff member would be deployed to drive the welfare van for the respective deployments?

RESPONSE:

The Police Federation of England and Wales (PFEW) confirm that Mutual Aid requests for the Welfare Van were made from the National Police Coordination Centre in conjunction with North Wales Police and PFEW. As personnel deployed with the Welfare Van are North Wales Police employees then the force had ultimate decision on which staff could be released having the least impact upon operational capabilities within the force.

QUESTION:

Which staff member was deployed to drive the welfare van during the respective deployments?

RESPONSE:

PFEW confirms that it does hold this data but is exempting it under the Freedom of Information Act (2000) Section 40:3(a).  Disclosing such data would identify individuals and constitute a breach of GDPR legislation.

QUESTION:

How much additional overtime and expenses were incurred by the staff member for each of the respective deployments?

RESPONSE:

PFEW does not hold this data.

QUESTION:

Who authorised those additional overtime and expenses for each of the respective deployments?

RESPONSE:

PFEW does not hold this data.
