I would like information regarding the introduction of the Airwave system.  Specifically 

1.  Any reports or information regarding the risks to users of the Airwave system either prior to introduction or since
2. Any reports of illnesses/deaths of users linked to the use of Airwave that the Federation is aware of.

The Police Federation of England and Wales can confirm that we hold partial information in relation to this request. 

Between 2013 and 2021 there have been 23 claims related to hearing loss related to radio use, however there are no indications of the radio system.
