Nottinghamshire Police Federation

Annual Conference: Busy agenda gets underway

10 October 2023

There’s a packed programme to look forward to today as the Police Federation of England and Wales (PFEW) begins its annual conference.

Nottinghamshire Police Federation members can register here to be part of the conference and join in the discussions.

Hosted by broadcaster Ian Collins, the conference is the PFEW’s flagship event which brings together senior Federation officials, key stakeholders and policing experts.

The agenda on day one includes debates on leadership in policing, independent conduct panels, and disclosure and redaction. There will also be discussions on retirement, misogyny, and Mutual Aid.

The agenda for day two will explore industrial rights, and wellbeing, and there will be a keynote address from PFEW chair Steve Hartshorn and a Q&A panel session.

Awards recognising outstanding contributions in roads policing, detectives, and women in policing will be handed out.

Members who are unable to be part of the conference can follow it and join in the discussions on social media using the hashtag #PFEW23
