A beautifully presented fully furnished 2 bedroomed property situated in a lovely country location 1 mile south of Selkirk and only a short distance (400 metres) from the main A7 Edinburgh to Carlisle roadway.

The cottage which is located in the grounds of the owners main residence benefits from spacious open plan living. It boasts a well-equipped kitchen with all the essentials for a lovely relaxing stay. The property has extensive countryside views, but remains within easy access of the main town of Selkirk and the other towns across the Scottish Borders.

Whether you are looking for a peaceful break to relax in the Scottish Borders countryside, or a central location to explore the area, whatever you stay Stainie Brae Holiday Cottage is ideally located with something available nearby to suit all tastes and budgets.

The accommodation is bright and spacious and immaculately presented throughout and the finishing is to a very high standard.

There are 3 golf courses a matter of ten minutes away, plenty of walks and Drove roads to explore and Ian Stark’s Equestrian Centre is ½ a mile away. Local attractions include:

Accommodation

Ground floor: The spacious open plan living room boasts a multi fuel burning stove. The open plan modern kitchen has a number of kitchen units and appliances. There is also a dining area with table and four chairs. French doors lead from the living area into a private garden. The main bathroom is situated on the ground floor and is fitted with a large quadrant shower unit, power shower, WC and basin.
First floor: 1 X double bedroom with king size bed and bedside units with double wardrobe; 1 X double bedroom with two single beds and bedside units.

Within the Selkirk catchment area there are a number of restaurants and cafe/bars. There are also lovely country bars and restaurants within easy reach. We would be happy to recommend a range of restaurants tailored to your requirements, should you chose not to use the cooking facilities within the property at any time during your stay. A drop off – pick up service is available on request **

Terms and Conditions

  • 10% deposit is payable at the time of booking via BACS transfer made payable to Stainiebrae Holiday Cottage (bank details will be provided at time of booking)
    Please note, booking confirmation will be confirmed prior to any request for payment is made.
  • Balances should be paid in full 6 weeks prior to arrival. If booking within 6 weeks of arrival, full payment will be required at the time of booking by BACS transfer made payable to Stainiebrae Holiday Cottage (bank details will be provided at time of booking).
  • In the case of cancellation due to unforeseen circumstances within 6 weeks of you holiday, a full refund (less the 10% deposit) will be given up to 42 days before your holiday. The deposit can then be used to book alternative dates (if available). Please check that your personal holiday insurance covers this.
  • Check in is available from 2:30pm (unless by prior arrangement
  • Check out is by 10:30am (unless by prior arrangement)
