Your chance to win a Fitbit

West Midlands Police Federation members could win a Fitbit by downloading the My Healthy Advantage app.

The health and wellbeing app, provided by Health Assured, is designed to improve mental and physical health by using personal metrics to set goals and achievements.

The app gives access to fitness videos, blogs, and recipes, video podcasts, meditations and breathing exercises.

To be in with a chance of winning the Fitbit simply scan the QR code, download the My Healthy Advantage app and follow the instructions to create an account and you’ll automatically be entered into the draw.

The competition also applies to existing users. 

Meanwhile, Police Mutual, which offers financial services for serving or retired police officers, staff and their families, has released a series of online factsheets for August.

Let’s Talk Family Finances offers advice on budgeting, saving, and buying a house. It also includes financial advice on starting a family, caring for elderly parents, and making a will. 

A second factsheet focuses on musculoskeletal problems, how to prevent them, tips on physical activity, and sources of support and information. 

Police Mutual’s Grief Awareness factsheet provides advice on coping with grief, tips for helping children cope with death, and advice for what to say if someone has been bereaved.
