Pensions remedy: myth-busting seminar

Members are being invited to attend an online seminar that aims to answer common questions around the remedy being planned to overcome the discrimination found in the implementation of the 2015 Police Pension Scheme.

The session, on 22 June, will include an input from financial advisers St James’ Place and officers will also be able to ask national Federation secretary Alex Duncan and vice-chair Ché Donald questions.

“These sessions, which have been held within other Federation branches, are really informative,” says Tim Rogers, secretary of West Midlands Police Federation, “Members have so many questions around what is being put forward in the remedy and there has been a lot of misinformation so I hope officers will take this opportunity to find out the facts.”
