Latest edition of Federation magazine is published

The latest edition of the West Midlands Police Federation magazine is out now and available to read online.
The April/May issue carries in-depth coverage of the successful campaign to get the Force to review its decision to withdraw funding for Taser training for sergeant as well as reports on stop and search, roads policing and the impact of new disclosure rules on detectives.
It also included more details of the results of the Federation pay and and morale survey.
The magazine features a series of fascinating profiles on a number of Police Federation figures including roads policing officer Carrie-Ann Lowe who describes how she is using her experience of “challenging obstacles” in her new role as a Police Federation workplace representative.
