Andy bangs the drum for the BPSO

14 November 2018

Tickets are now on sale for two big events in the calendar of the British Police Symphony Orchestra (BPSO) which is made of serving and retired members of forces across the country and their families.

The first is the annual Proms Night Spectacular at the Birmingham Symphony Hall on 1 December and then on 11 May 2019 it will play a charity gala concert at the Royal Albert Hall, an event being sponsored by West Midlands Police Federation.

Both events are a celebration of music. The December performance is an evening of old favourites from the proms and lots of rousing tunes.

The Royal Albert Hall date is a celebration of 30 years of the BPSO bringing together more than 670 performers from the police service throughout the UK and including choirs, pipe bands, fanfare brass and the BPSO.

Further information and details of how to buy tickets can be found here.

Do you play a musical instrument?
If you play a musical instrument to a reasonable standard, the BPSO is always looking for new players.
