Hertfordshire Police Federation

Annual conference: Key issues to be debated over next two days

10 October 2023

This year’s Police Federation of England and Wales (PFEW) annual conference is taking place online today and tomorrow and Hertfordshire members can join in.

Register for the conference here and be part of one of PFEW’s flagship events.

The conference is hosted by broadcaster Ian Collins and brings together decision makers, key policing stakeholders, and experts.

Today’s agenda includes discussions on leadership in policing, Home Office review impact on independent panels, and disclosure and redaction, as well as retirement, misogyny, and Mutual Aid.

On day two, the conference will explore industrial rights, and wellbeing, and there will be a keynote address from PFEW chair Steve Hartshorn and a Q&A panel session.

Outstanding contributions to policing will be recognised through the presentation of awards for excellence in roads policing, detectives, and women in policing.

Members who are unable to be part of the conference can follow it and join in the discussions on social media using the hashtag #PFEW23
