Retired members

Retired members can access the following cover:

• Life Assurance @ £55,000.00 under 65 and £10,000 for 65 to 70-year-olds
• Best Doctors Service - family cover
• Worldwide annual multi-trip travel insurance - family cover
• Legal expenses insurance - family cover
• RAC Motor Breakdown Assistance - member and partner
• Home Emergency assistance – member only
• Mobile phone and gadget insurance - member and partner.

Monthly premiums are: £38.37 single cover and £45.82 joint cover under 65 then £38.37 single cover and £45.19 for 65 to 70-year-olds.

At 70 years of age the scheme automatically continues into the 70 Plus cover for retired members of the Personal Insurance Scheme at a monthly premium of £22.28.

Please note cover is significantly reduced as it does not cover Life insurance or Travel, it only covers the below:

• Home Emergency assistance – member only
