Could you be a foster carer to a teenager?

18 November 2021

An information session and webinar for police officers considering becoming foster carers is taking place next week.

Hertfordshire County Council’s fostering team said the event was specifically aimed at emergency service workers who have lots of experience working with young people and could make perfect foster carers.

The webinar has been organised as part of the council’s Look What You’re Missing campaign, which is designed to show people how much fun they could have by fostering teenagers, and takes place on Wednesday 24 November, between 7 and 8.30pm.

Team members will be on hand to answer questions alongside a retired police officer who now fosters.

Hertfordshire Police Federation members who want to join the session should email fostering.recruitment@hertfordshire.gov.uk to receive a Microsoft Teams meeting link.
