Adam Leighton-Price has been dismissed by CC Marsh in a Special Case Hearing earlier today at Police Headquarters. The hearing was as a result of Mr Leighton-Price pleading guilty to a number of criminal offences during a court hearing in Gloucester Crown Court last month.
Andy Roebuck, Chair of Avon and Somerset Police Federation stated, “ Adam Leighton-Price has pleaded guilty to some very serious sexual offences, which as a Police Officer is totally unacceptable. We cannot condone the actions of this person and feel that the correct decision has been made by CC Marsh.
Avon and Somerset Police has a remarkable work force and as a Federation we pride ourselves on the exceptional work our officers do every day. We are proud of the professionalism and dedication of our officers, which makes the actions of Adam Leighton-Price incredibly disappointing.”
