Free webinars are being held to help Derbyshire Police Federation members improve their financial resilience.
Serve and Protect Credit Union, a not-for-profit organisation that supports police officers with their money, is hosting two online sessions focussing on the cost of living.
The first session – Financial Resilience and Cost of Living Support – takes place from 2pm to 3pm on Friday (19 May).
It explores cost of living challenges, budgeting, problem gambling, accessing affordable credit and the importance of checking your credit profile.
The second session is titled Budgeting and Spending and is being held from 10am to 11am on Tuesday 23 May. It will explore how to improve financial resilience, budgeting techniques and spending habits.
Tony Wetton, Derbyshire Police Federation chair, said: “The cost of living crisis shows no signs of easing and we’re all feeling the pinch.
“These free online sessions offer valuable and practical information on how to improve your financial resilience and make our money go that little bit further.”
