The PAG Report & Treatment of Police Pensions upon Divorce

If you’re facing an investigation, whether it relates to criminal or misconduct allegations, we understand it can be professionally and personally distressing.  Whatever the allegation you’re facing, and whether you were on or off duty, we can provide you with the legal advice and representation you need to fight your case. Our lawyers are experts in all aspects of criminal law, police conduct matters, inquests and post incident procedures.  We recognise the significant additional issues that police officers face when subject to an investigation into their conduct.

In the first instance you should contact your Police Federation representative to request legal assistance for criminal and misconduct matters.  Where urgent advice is required out of hours in relation to an arrest or post incident procedure, you can contact a Federation representation 24 hours a day via the duty inspector in the Force Contact Centre.

And if your investigation is mishandled, we can advise on civil remedies such as wrongful arrest.
