Park House Annexe, Sutton on Sea, Lincolnshire

Park House

Geraldine and Paul welcome you to Park House Annexe and hope you enjoy your stay.

Park House was originally built in 1929 as a Dr’s surgery for the village of Sutton on Sea.

The Accommodation

The annexe was built some years later by incorporating the Dr’s surgery and still has the original features of the ‘next patient ‘call button on the wall of the annexe lounge.

There is a fully equipped/fitted kitchen with washing machine and adjoining shower room, wash hand basin and WC. In the annexe lounge there is a three seater sofa, a dining table and chairs, Freeview TV and Wi-Fi. The two bedrooms are made up of one double and two single beds so the property comfortably sleeps four and we can accommodate 5 if required.

The Local Area

Sutton on Sea is an unspoiled seaside village on the Lincolnshire Coast with Blue Flag award winning sandy beaches, making it an ideal destination for families and couples looking to explore the East Coast and Lincolnshire Wolds but only a short distance away from the bright lights and attractions of the nearby resorts.

The village is situated between the popular and busier resorts of Mablethorpe approximately 2.5 miles and Skegness 16 miles away with the smaller resorts of Chapel St. Leonards and Ingoldmells also a short drive away providing further destinations to visit. These resorts all provide the usual seaside attractions including fun fairs, donkey rides, seal sanctuary, cinemas, aquarium and a pier in Skegness which hosts regular holiday shows and events.

Sutton on Sea High Street has a number of local shops, cafes, bars and restaurants and takeaways to fulfil all your needs for a self-catering holiday. There is also a hotel with a beer garden and a beachfront bar that serves meals inside or al fresco.

The picturesque market towns of Louth and Horncastle are 30mins drive away and offer a further selection of shops and eateries.

For those interested in the Second World War, a 45 minute drive will take you to Woodhall Spa which has a close association with RAF 617 Squadron who during the war operated from the building which is now ‘The Petwood Hotel’. You will also find the traditional ‘Kinema in the Woods’ which has the last remaining rear screen projector in the country and the highly recommended ‘Tea House in the Woods’ restaurant where you can enjoy an afternoon tea.

Much of the village's Victorian elegance remains, and since January 1991 much of the centre has been a designated conservation area.

There are a number of other attractions located in this county worth a visit including Lincoln City with all the usual high street shops as well as smaller independent businesses and of course the beautiful Cathedral, Castle and City Wall. All these attractions and much more can be found within an hour’s drive through the beautiful countryside of the Lincolnshire Wolds.

The Offer

The rate is £80 per night, minimum 3 night stay with no pets or smoking.

The annexe will be available from Friday 30th April 2021.
