THE POLICE TREATMENT CENTRE is a charity providing treatment, support & recuperation for injured and ill police officers.
The Police Treatment Centres are based in Harrogate, North Yorkshire and Auchterarder in Scotland; for only £7.80 per month ( retired officers £4.50 ) you will have access to these fantastic facilities. It doesn’t matter if your injury occurred on or off duty – you will be able to access the physiotherapy programme or the psychological wellbeing programme. If you have a condition that is preventing you from being active and unable to carry out your duties to full effect then the Police Treatment Centre is for you.
Serving police officers - to apply please complete the application form & forward to the Federation Office. You must pay into the Scheme for at least 12 months and after this time you will be able to apply as many times as you require to assist you to return to full fitness.
All other staff & retired , you may set up a direct debit (using the links to the forms) which will ensure you are also eligible for treatment at the PTC:

NATIONAL POLICE HEALTHCARE SCHEME
Police Officers only - if you have joined this scheme and currently subscribe to PTC, the Federation office will cancel your PTC subscription of £7.80 for you.
Police Staff only : If you have joined this scheme and currently subscribe to PTC, please contact payroll direct to cancel your monthly payment of £7.80
PATIENT SUMMARIES
Since February 2024, The Police Treatment Centres have been accepting Patient Summaries to accompany applications for residential physiotherapy at both of our Centres. This means that patients will now be able to upload their patient summary with their application and will not require a clinical signature in sections 4 or 5 of our application form. Please note that this is applicable for residential physiotherapy only. PTC have created a how to guide which contains further information, you can download it here
This page also contains a letter that patients can use to request their patient summary from their GP Surgery if required.

It doesn’t matter if you are a member or not of the Police Treatment Centre; if interested you can sign up for the Lottery today.
