Police Officer pay rises kicked in on 1 September

The Police officer Pay Award announced by the Home Secretary has an implementation date of Sunday 1st September 2019:
- 2.5% increase to base pay for all ranks
- 2.5% increase to Dog Handlers’ Allowance in line with the main pay award.
- Increase to the on-call allowance from £15 to £20
