Support 24 – Validium

Subscribing members to the Humberside Group Insurance Scheme (GIS) can access a confidential and independent counselling service which is available 24/7 for both personal and work-related issues.

Provided by The Validium Group, the Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) offers a freephone support line giving members access to telephone counselling, practical information and guidance. If appropriate, short-term brief therapy counselling can also be arranged with up to eight face to face sessions.

GIS subscribers and any family member(over 16 yrs) living at the home address can contact the service whenever they need ad hoc counselling support or information to help with a legal, money, debt or health and wellbeing issue.

Validium’s EAP provides information, signposting and guidance on:

Legal matters such as consumer rights, property, landlord/tenant, family and motoring law
Money matters, including managing creditors, budgeting and debt management plans
Health and wellbeing information on lifestyle issues such as diet, exercise, sleep, health and medical concerns.
