Legal Funding
The Police Federation of England & Wales (PFEW) provides funding for legal advice and representation for allegations that occur on duty or in relation to your duties as a police officer.
For additional cover relating to off-duty conduct or allegations not directly linked to your role, members can access legal assistance through the Group Insurance Scheme (GIS) for subscribing members only.

• Outside office hours: Email fedoffice@devon.polfed.org with a clear request for support and attach any notices or papers served on you.
  If urgent, call the office number and follow instructions to reach an On-Call Representative.
