Police and Crime Commissioner elections next week

Federation members are being reminded that they can vote in the Police and Crime Commissioner (PCC) elections in the areas in which they live.

The PCC elections will be held on Thursday 2 May.

Five candidates have put themselves forward for election as West Mercia’s PCC:

• John-Paul Campion (Conservative Party)
• Henry Curteis (English Democrats – “More Police – catching criminals!”)
• Julian David Geoffrey Dean (Green Party)
• Sarah Philippa Jane Murray (Liberal Democrat)
• Richard Andrew Overton (Labour and Cooperative Party).

The successful candidate will serve a four-year term.

Voters are being advised that they must show photo ID when voting at polling stations.
