Transferees

If you are a Police Officer and transferring to West Mercia Police, we would like draw your attention to the schemes we run as West Mercia Police Federation. Your Federation memberships from your previous force do not automatically transfer. If you wish to continue with these memberships, the below applications will need to be completed and returned to staff@wmpf.polfed.org within one month of joining West Mercia Police.

The Federation Transferee Membership form must be completed and returned to this office. If you opt out to pay subscriptions to the Federation, you will still need to return the form and you will not be able to join the Group Insurance Scheme.

Group Insurance Transferee Application form

You can complete and return the Group Insurance Transferee Application form within one month of joining the Force if you were a member of the Group Insurance in your previous force.  You must send a copy of your Wage slip to confirm membership before this can be processed.

If you were not a member in your previous Force and wish to join you will need to complete a Late Health Declaration, or, if this cannot be complied with, a full application form which will require underwriting by the Insurer.  Details can be found on our website https://www.polfed.org/westmercia/group-insurance/application-forms/.
