West Mercia Police Federation

Annual Conference: Packed agenda gets underway

10 October 2023

The Police Federation of England and Wales’s (PFEW) annual conference gets underway today - and there’s still chance for West Mercia members to get involved.

Members can register here to be part of the conference and take part in a packed programme of discussions.

This year’s conference is being held online and is hosted by broadcaster Ian Collins.

The agenda for day one features debates disclosure and redaction, leadership in policing, the Home Office review impact on independent panels. There will also be discussions retirement, misogyny, and Mutual Aid.

The agenda for day two will explore industrial rights, and wellbeing, and there will be a keynote address from PFEW chair Steve Hartshorn as well as a Q&A panel session.

Awards recognising outstanding contributions in roads policing, detectives, and women in policing will be handed out.

Members who are unable to be part of the conference can follow it and join in the discussions on social media using the hashtag #PFEW23
