City of London Police Federation

603CP

Brief career summary: I came into policing very late for my age, only starting my career starting in 2020 as a Student Officer, after a brief time as a Special Constable with the City of London in 2019.

I'm currently a T/DC in CID.

What made me want to become a Fed Rep: Officer welfare is extremely important to me, having experience in different corporate roles and having been self-employed for several years. I felt like policing is severely lacking in this department overall, especially with the level of scrutiny we face as officers, and constantly being tarnished with the same brush in the media when negative incidents occur this all adds to the frustrations of our job. It’s important to have a body that realises this and offers officers support.

Why I think it’s important for members to be supported by fellow officers as their Reps: For approachability, reassurance and support at the time they need.

My particular areas of interest: Health, safety, working conditions and wellbeing in the workplace is something I am passionate about, improving the environment we work in to make it a better place for officers to work in.

What members can do if they’re concerned about anything: Contact the Federation to discuss any issue and concerns they may have or find a Fed Rep who may be on duty at the time to find out if the Federation can help them.

An unusual or interesting fact about myself: I love photography, mainly to document my travels around the world.
