We would like to wish all police officers, staff and volunteers a very merry Christmas and a happy New Year.

At a time of reflection, we want to celebrate our members and the ongoing pride we feel upon hearing about the brave and courageous tasks you take on, on a daily basis. 

We know Christmas is different for police officers. For so many of those reading this, Christmas Day will be spent on the job, out protecting our communities.

So please, recognise your boundaries and the signs of burnout. Check in on your colleagues, friends and family, and most importantly speak up and reach out if you feel you need that support. Please prioritise your mental health and wellbeing - not just at Christmas, but throughout 2024 and beyond. 

Thank you for all of your hard work in 2023.
