The Branch Board has representatives covering a number of business areas to provide expertise in advice and support for our members, such as equality, conduct, professional development and health and safety.
Similarly, as the voice of the membership, the workplace reps meet with LPA SLTS each month to make representations about what is going on at the frontline.
Strategically, the branch makes representations to chief officers, and have regular monthly meetings with individual members of the chief officer team to cover each of their business areas.
Conduct reps will support officers under investigation with professional standards and ensure that the process is carried our properly, proportionately and fairly.
Our specialist case manager will help officers in times of specific need due to ill health and various medical and wellbeing needs.
We have been able to fund two welfare vans for use throughout the Force to look after our members.
