The Police Association of Strategic Leaders (PASL) comprises of 14 policing bodies who have signed and committed to a Memorandum of Understanding to work together to improve equality for all police officers in England and Wales.

This involves working to "eliminate discrimination on the grounds of; belief, religion, age, disability, race, discrimination arising from family status, sex, sexual orientation or any other unjustified treatment on any grounds, and the promotion of equality, diversity and opportunity for all, in its own practices and arrangements and throughout the police service in England and Wales".

• We work to encourage representation, equality, diversity and inclusion in policing – we support and encourage difference;
• Discrimination of any kind will not be tolerated.
