Announcement of new Chair

West Midlands Police Federation is pleased to announce that following the recent election, members have voted Sergeant Richard Cooke as their new Chair.

Richard comes to the post from Force Response, where he has seen daily the demand placed upon already over-stretched resources as officers struggle to cope with everything from vulnerability to terrorism.

Richard is delighted to be elected as Chair of West Midlands Police Federation. During his campaign, he highlighted fighting for better pensions, officer safety, access to much needed breaks and ensuring officers get quality time with their families.
