Wellbeing van visits Force area

Wellbeing vans have been in the Force area this week.

The vans are provided through the National Police Wellbeing Service which sits within the Oscar Kilo initiative.

The vans were scheduled to be in the following locations:
Monday 8 July - Coventry Central
Tuesday 9 July - Airport Ops (Birmingham Airport)
Wednesday 10 July - Wolverhampton Central
Thursday 11 July - Perry Barr Custody
Friday 12 July – Solihull.

The National Police Wellbeing Service aims to provide support and guidance for police forces so they can improve wellbeing.

It provides practical support in eight key areas:

• Trauma, major incidents and disaster resilience
• Psychological screening
• Individual resilience
• Peer support
• Line management
• Leadership
• Wellbeing at work
• Mobile outreach – wellbeing vans
