Training reps to best support members

Zuleika Payne has joined the National Board of the Police Federation of England and Wales and has a key role in the learning and development team.

Since taking up her post in autumn 2018, Zuleika has tried to help local branches identify their training needs so that all representatives and officials can undertake appropriate courses.

She has also consulted training experts so that courses can be re-designed where necessary.

Zuleika explained: “We are keen to design a quality product, one that is current and relevant so we can offer the best possible training which, in turn, will mean we can offer effective support to our members.
