Share the benefits of the Benevolent Fund

The West Midlands Police Benevolent Fund offers a range of benefits to its subscribing members.
But it is now seeking help in boosting its membership.
So, if you are a member and you sign up a work colleague to join the fund between now and the end of November then you will be entered into a free prize draw to win £30 in Vex High Street shopping vouchers.
To sign up, they just need to visit the Benevolent Fund website – and remember to ask them to put down your name as the person who recommended them to join.
You will then be entered into the draw for the gift vouchers and, as an added bonus, you will also be sent a FREE travel mug.
If every serving member each recruited a new member, it would raise an amazing £7,000 a month.
That would pay for:
- Two stair lifts or provide home modifications for an injured officer/retired member
- A fleet of wheelchairs to support recovering members
- 17 more people, each month, to benefit from a week of intensive physiotherapy and convalescence
- Sickness vouchers for a further 200 police colleagues currently off work due to illness or injury.
Benefits of joining the Benevolent Fund
- Life cover of £3,500 for just £2 per month
- All deceased members’ children receive £25 per week until their 18th birthday
- Officer and staff members off sick for more than 21 days receive £30 in shopping vouchers
- Access to interest-free loans or charitable grants
- Convalescence and rehabilitation breaks
- Discounted seaside breaks at the fund’s two holiday properties
The prize draw will take place on Monday 30 November 2020. Winners will be notified by email. The vouchers can be spent in 150 High Street stores.
