Response driving bill due for second reading

A bill to help protect response drivers from prosecution is due to receive its second reading in the House of Commons next week.

Sir Henry Bellingham MP will introduce his Private Members’ Bill on Friday 23 November.

It follows a campaign led by West Midlands Police Federation deputy secretary Tim Rogers, who is the Federation’s national pursuits lead and has worked closely with Sir Henry on the bill.
