‘Help get our fundraising off to a flying start!’

Last month WMP Benevolent Fund appealed for colleagues running the Great Birmingham Run to help support the welfare service during the half marathon…and the response was amazing.

The Fund has enlisted the support of 14 volunteers to take part in the 13.1 run on Sunday 14 October.

The serving and retired officers, police staff and friends of members will be put through their paces, raising vital funds every step they take.

Every month WMP Benevolent Fund offers help to its members, so far this year over £50,000 has been awarded in grants and benefits to support members suffering financial hardship or distress.

By donating just a small amount, you will be helping the Fund to generate much needed funds to provide continued assistance to those in need.
