Remembering PC Neville Stackwood

Suffolk Police Federation chair Darren Harris has remembered PC Neville Stackwood on the anniversary of his death.

Neville was found dead alongside his crashed motorcycle while he was on patrol on 9 May 1984. He was 27.

Darren said: “Neville was only 27 when he died in the line of duty. Each and every day, our members put themselves at risk and all too often pay the ultimate price – but we will never forget them.

“The thoughts of everyone at Suffolk Police Federation are with Neville’s family, friends and colleagues on this difficult day.”
