Leicestershire Police Federation set to meet with county's new Police and Crime Commissioner
Leicestershire Police Federation Chairman Adam Commons has already secured a meeting with the county’s new Police and Crime Commissioner Rupert Matthews.
Adam said: “I was really pleased to be invited to meet our new PCC, Rupert Matthews, yesterday along with our Branch Secretary Jon Carter-Lang.
“We were able to discuss the role of the Federation, our good relationship with the Force and how both of our roles work locally and feed into the National Federation.
“It was clear that Mr Matthews is very supportive of our police officers and that he wants to take the time to understand the different roles and challenges, which was really good to hear. We will meet again once he has settled in.”
