Leicestershire Police Federation adds reusable water bottles to our #MemberServices offerings

Chairman Adam Commons highlights how the Federation tries to give that little extra back to our hard working members.

Adam said: “Leicestershire Police Federation has always purchased items to give to our members what we thought would be beneficial. We have had sporks, hand warmers, notebooks and pens. Now that we have the Medical and Insurance Trusts we also have stocks of their products which include hand sanitiser, and insulated lunch bags.

“I want to try and keep a rotating supply of things that will benefit all our members, whatever role they do. Now that we are coming into the hot summer months, I took the opportunity to order a few drinks bottles.

“We are always being told by the professionals that we should drink more water, and I thought this would be a good way of encouraging people to do it. Unfortunately, I can’t go out and buy enough for everyone in the Force as it would be cost prohibitive, but I’ll see how popular they are and decide whether to maintain a supply.

“As restrictions lift we will be able to visit more stations in our welfare van so there will be opportunities for people to come and see us and collect some goodies as part of signing up to the Federation or the Insurance Schemes as well as those who are already members.
