Leicestershire Police Federation partners with X-Emergency Services for retirement seminar

Leicestershire Police Federation partnered with X-Emergency Services to deliver a retirement seminar to 20 of our members between May 26th-27th.

The 2 day event was held at Amazon’s new premises at East Midlands Parkway and the agenda contained many different areas including CV writing, investment & pension advice, starting your own business, transferring police skills to the private sector and much more.

Chairman Adam Commons said: "We have now seen some of the feedback from the two days and we are very pleased that our attendees found it so beneficial. 

"We want to continue to mould and grow these events working with X-Emergency Services and I’m delighted to say we will have more dates soon for courses this year and going into 2023. 

"It is so important we help our members as they transition from their police career into the next stage of their lives and we will continue to plug the gap that is not being filled anywhere else."
