Dear Sir/Madam

Re: Tax relief on Police Federation subscriptions

National Insurance No……………………………………………… Police Pay Reference…………………………………………………

I am a member of Kent Police. As such I am a subscribing member to the Police Federation of England and Wales. My subscriptions are deducted at source by Kent Police.

I have been a subscribing member of the Police Federation since…………………………

The following is a list of Federation Subscriptions that I have paid since……………………………………………:

From 1 January 2011 - £4.98 per week = £21.58 per month

From 1 September 2020 - £5.44 per week = £23.58 per month

From 1 December 2022 - £5.61 per week = £24.31 per month

I therefore claim tax relief on my subscriptions in accordance with your Head Office reference SAPP T1644/23 82/MA.

Yours faithfully

This should be sent to your local tax office.
