Request:

Received: 2 January 2019

Can you please tell me how many people were members of the national council and national board (or it’s previous formats )in 2011
and out of those numbers how many have retired or are due to retire in the next 2 years

Response:

Responded: 21 January 2019

The Police Federation of England and Wales can confirm that in 2011 the Joint Central Committee was equivalent of the current National
Board. It consisted of 30 members - 10 officers per rank (Constable, Sergeant, and Inspector) and included Women's reserve seats and
2 places for the Metropolitan Police on each Rank. All 30 of the members from 2011 have either retired or left the Force.
There was no equivalent of the current National Council in 2011.
