Celebrating International Women's Day

We are delighted to mark International Women’s Day (IWD) on 8 March with a webinar between 10.00 – 11.30am. We will hear from two of our previous Women In Policing winners, who will speak about Method of Entry and Bleepkind.  We also have the longest serving female officer sharing what inspires her each day.

Walking4Watt 3 Peaks Challenge

In September 2022 PC Gary Watt’s little 5-year-old boy was rushed to Southampton General from our local hospital where it was confirmed he had Birketts Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. An aggressive but curable cancer.
The fear that my wife and I felt at the time of diagnosis is something we wouldn’t wish on anyone. If it wasn’t for Young Lives vs Cancer, this nightmare would have been unbearable.
They provide families at the most devastating time with financial, psychological and emotional support. The contact and support from the social workers is second to none. The accommodation they provide families to keep families together is amazing, a home from home.
The support they provide allowed us to focus on being there for our little boy.
Now that my boy is in remission, I have decided to raise some money for them. A group of friends and I are going to take on the 3 peaks 24-hour challenge. We are not walkers and none of us have ever done anything like this.
Please donate whatever you can to help Young Lives vs Cancer to keep on supporting families in need.
