Our Roads Policing Conference and Awards took place on 29 and 30 January at the Jury's Inn, Hinckley Island, Leicestershire.

The conference was the 13th hosted by the Police Federation of England and Wales and brought together those who work in the roads policing arena. It also highlighted the successes, challenges and best industry practice under the theme Roads policing – Officer welfare matters.

Thanks to those who nominated officers for the Outstanding Contribution to Roads Policing Award - the winner, Simon Hills of Thames Valley Police and Hampshire Constabulary - was announced at a ceremony on the evening of the 29th.
