Federation reaction to injustice for Amy Houston

Paul McKeever, Chairman of the Police Federation of England and Wales, says:

“Our sympathy is entirely with Mr and Mrs Houston and their family. Yet again we see the human rights of a heartless criminal put before the human rights of his young victim to a life and her grieving family to justice.

"How many more families will have to endure not only the heartache of losing a loved one in such tragic circumstances, but then the injustice our legal system delivers by favouring the rights of those who commit these heinous crimes above those of the victims.”
