Federation comment on health and safety
04 October 2008
Paul McKeever, Chairman of the Police Federation of England and Wales, says:
"The health, safety and well-being of police officers is paramount. We would never encourage officers to place themselves or others in dangerous or life-threatening situations. Placing caveats and riders on the awards would only diminish the officers’ acts of bravery."
