"It’s early days and therefore interesting to learn some of what SOCA has been doing in its first year, and not just the news of recent strike action which affected them. Appreciating that much of their work cannot be publicised at the time, it’s important that internally we have a good understanding of how the police service can interact with them. We must also ensure we work together to tackle the growing gap of level two crime and stem the tide of serious organised criminal activity."
