Federation wins judicial review on pension commutation

Responding to the news that the application for judicial review of commutation of police officers’ pensions has been successful, Paul McKeever, Chairman of the Police Federation of England and Wales says:
“Last year we identified an irregularity concerning the commutation of police officers’ pensions which meant that some retired officers were not receiving what they are entitled to. We are pleased that today’s decision by the High Court will rectify that anomaly.”
