ASB powers comment

Alan Gordon, Vice Chairman of the Police Federation of England and Wales:

“We welcome any powers to enable police to act positively against any form of anti-social behaviour to improve the lives of residents.”

“This new power must be non-bureaucratic to be effective and must be introduced onto the statute book as soon as possible, unlike some powers introduced at the same time as the 24 hour licensing”
