Women’s Health Week: downloadable guide available

8 May 2024

Women’s Health Week starts on Sunday (12 May) and aims to encourage women to make their health a priority.

The Police Federation of England and Wales is working with Police Mutual to highlight the physical and mental health issues that might affect women and steps to help prevent them.

Police Mutual, which provides financial services and welfare support to the police service, has produced a new factsheet dedicated to women’s health and wellbeing.

The factsheet explores physical health and the steps women can take to look after it.

There are sections on issues such as menopause, osteoporosis, and cancers, as well as pregnancy, fertility, and endometriosis.

There are also sections on common mental health problems anxiety, depression, and stress, and it also looks at eating disorders as well.

The guide is available to download now for free
