Clare Moody elected as new PCC for Avon and Somerset.

Clare Moody has been elected as the New Police And Crime Commissioner for Avon and Somerset.

Iain Prideaux, Acting Chair of Avon and Somerset Police Federation, said, “We would like to offer our congratulations and welcome new Police and Crime Commissioner Clare Moody.

"Clare joins us during a week where the dangerous and challenging work of Police Officers has been clearly seen. Officers running toward danger and harm can leave them with deep physical and psychological injuries.

"We have seen the courage and dedication of our officers to protect the public and we are looking forward to working with Clare to improve the health, safety and wellbeing of our officers throughout her term as PCC.

"We would also like to wish Mark Shelford well in his future pursuits and thank him for his service.”
